Rose M. (Savercool) Welsh, age 86, of Dorrence Twp, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Allied Hospice Center in Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Stroudsburg on July 11, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Pearl (Knorr) Savercool. She was a graduate of Stroudsburg High School.
Rose was a member of Mt. Zion United Church of Christ, Slocum.
She will be greatly missed by her beloved husband, Robert P. Welsh, with whom she celebrated 65 years of marriage; daughters, Sherry L. Welsh, Wapwallopen; Sandra L. Wintersteen and husband Ralph, Wapwallopen; a granddaughter, Kristy Masteller; great grandchildren, Cassie and husband Jason, Jacob, Toby, Delaney and Dia; great-great granddaughter, Paisley. She also leaves behind a sister, Geraldine Kaminski of Wapwallopen.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a grandson, John Zajac and a sister, Cora “Cookie” Good.
Private graveside services will be held in Conyngham Union Cemetery.
