Joseph V. Corsano, age 55, of Berwick passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Hershey Medical Center, with his beloved wife by his side.
Born in Belleville, New Jersey on December 3, 1970, he was a son of Elizabeth M. (Appleyard) Balazs of Berwick and the late Perry V. Corsano. He was a 1990 graduate of Berwick High School. Joe served in the US Navy from 1991 until 1995. After an honorable discharge, he worked for many years at Wise Foods. Most recently, he was employed as a supervisor at Breezeline.
Joseph was very proficient with technology, he enjoyed working on computers, 3D printing and gaming. He was a big fan of the 49ers.
In 2013 he met the love of his life, Wendy S. (Fetterman) Corsano. They were married in 2018 and enjoyed spending as much of their time together as they could. Together they have 2 fur babies, Sheba and Scamper, whom Joe loved dearly.
In addition to his wife and mother, he will be greatly missed by his sisters, Tracy Corsano Hess, Berwick; and Christine Balliet and husband Roger, Wapwallopen; nieces and nephews including, Angelica Wince, Amanda Dohl, Monique Harmon, Perry Harmon, Emily DiPippa, Corine Fulton, Tricia Rozell, Taylor Rozell, Tori Rozell, Gavin Dohl and Jace Dohl, and Bella Wince. He also leaves behind stepfather, Roy Balazs Sr.; stepbrother, Roy Jr.; stepsister, Celena; and sister-in-law, Cheri Pelton and husband Matt.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Nicole Corsano and brother-in-law Jerry Hess.
A private celebration of life will be held at the convenience of his family. Heller Funeral Home LLC, Nescopeck is entrusted with his arrangements.
