Joseph C. Farver, age 71, of Berwick passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Glen Brook Rehab and Healthcare, Berwick.
Born in Danville on March 31, 1954, he was a son of the late Joseph T. and Dawn M. (Weiser) Farver. He was a graduate of Columbia Montour Vocational Technical School, Bloomsburg, class of 1974. After graduation, he served in the Army National Guard for several years. Joe worked at several local businesses over the years. Most recently, he was employed at Heinz, later DelMonte Pet Foods, for over 35 years.
He was a life member of West Berwick Hose Co #1. Joe enjoyed collecting coins and stamps. He also liked fishing. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his grandchildren, and he loved taking care of his cats, “Tigger”, “Stitch”, and “Max”.
Joe leaves behind a son, Loren Farver, Bloomsburg; daughters, Jasmine Farver, Wilkes-Barre; Kandice Farver, Berwick; and cherished grandchildren, Ariana, Everlee, Nathan, Annabelle and Maximus. He will also be missed by his sisters, Beth Vaughn and husband Curtis, Berwick; Kelly Kindig and husband William, Millville; and Gail Farver, Danville; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Farver; and his cats, “Scrappy” and “Tiny”.
At Joe’s request there will be no services.
