Sandra L. Sitler, age 79, Mifflinville passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born in California on November 26, 1946, she was the only child of the late Irma Lupini. She was a graduate of Central High School, class of 1965. For several years, Sandy was employed at Dockey’s Shirt Factory in Berwick. Once her children were born, she stopped working and devoted her time to her family. She worked hard to provide a nice home and loving environment for her husband and children.
Sandy formerly attended Mifflinville United Methodist Church. She was an avid reader and also liked working on jigsaw puzzles, crocheting and canning a variety of fruits and vegetables.
She will be greatly missed by her beloved husband of 58 years, Keith A Sitler; sons, Kim Sitler and wife Darlis, Lightstreet; and Alan D Sitler and wife Angela, Mifflinville. She also leaves behind numerous cousins including Tina Lupini, with whom she had a close relationship. They were raised together and Sandy thought of Tina as a sister.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 23, 2026, at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 E Third St, Nescopeck. Interment will follow in Elan Memorial Park, Bloomsburg. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
