Rose M. Strauss, age 56, of Berwick, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at Glen Brook Nursing Home, Berwick.
Born in Williamsport on March 20, 1970, she was the daughter of Pearl L. (Young) Strauss, and the late John M. Strauss, Sr. She attended Williamsport area High Schools. She worked in food service for several years. After her daughter was born, she devoted her life to raising her children and providing a loving home for them.
Her hobbies included cooking and working on diamond paintings.
Rose will be greatly missed by her son, Owen Ritter of Berwick; daughter, Kimberly Ritter of Berwick; six grandchildren; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and former companion and friend Randy Ritter of Berwick.
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by a son, Thane Ritter.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at the Bloomsburg Town Park: Market Street, Bloomsburg, Pavillion C.
