Donald E. Shultz, age 76, of Berwick passed away early Monday morning, June 15, 2026, at Celebration Villa where he was a resident.
Born in Danville on September 20, 1949, he was a son of the late Frederick E. and Betty M. (Downey) Shultz. Don was a 1967 graduate of Berwick High School. He furthered his education by earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration and logistics in 1971 from Penn State University. While at college he became a member of the fraternity Zeta Psi. Don worked as a warehouse manager at Wise Foods for many years.
He was of the Lutheran faith. He was also a railroad buff and worked for Atlantic Railroad for a short time. In his spare time, he enjoyed computer programming.
He is survived by a brother, Craig Shultz and his wife Nicole of Hagerman, Idaho; two nephews, Mark E. Shultz and Kyle R. Shultz, both of Idaho; close friend, Julianna Lazo of Montreal; and fraternity brother, Milton Miller of Altoona.
At Donald’s request, services are private. Heller Funeral Home LLC, Nescopeck is assisting his family.
