Lynn M. Hunsinger, age 73, of Berwick went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday July 12, 2026, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Berwick on August 30, 1952, she was a daughter of Shirley M. (Wolfinger) Shaffer, Berwick and the late Leroy J. Shaffer. She was educated in the Berwick Area School District. In her younger years she worked for Briar Knitting Company. Later, she was employed at Berwick Industries until retiring in 2014.
She was a member of Ebenezer Faith Bible Church, Berwick. She was an amazing cook and loved card and board games.
In 1973 she married the love of her life, Randy S. Hunsinger. Together they would have celebrated 53 years of marriage in August.
In addition to her mother and husband, she will be greatly missed by her sons: Brian Hunsigner and wife Megan, Berwick; Adam Hunsinger and wife Laura, Berwick; and her grandson, who was her greatest joy, Derek Hunsinger. She also leaves behind her sisters: Kelly Brown, Bloomsburg; Janet Brown and Husband George, Wapwallopen; Ruth Ann Ridall and her husband Loren, Berwick; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her father, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Frank and David Shaffer.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday July 25, 2026, at 1:00pm at Ebenezer Faith Bible Church, 630 PA-93, Berwick.
