Lawrence “Larry” Bunevitch, age 60, of West Nanticoke, passed away on, Wednesday July 22, 2026, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Scranton, on September 14, 1965, he was a son of the late Anthony G. and Margaret (Edwards) Bunevitch. He attended West Scranton Schools and received his associate’s degree in architectural engineering from LCCC.
Larry was self-employed as a professional painter; he owned and operated “Do It All Painting”. He loved to go fishing at the local fishing spots.
He will be greatly missed by his loving companion of 30 years, Kathy J. Moyer; her daughters, Stephanie and Anthony Anoia of Maryland, Wendy Peters and her children Luke and Hailey of Hobbie; brothers, Daniel Bunevitch, companion Linda and Timothy Bunevitch, wife Tara both of Springbrook Twp.; sister, Margaret Shipman, Maryland; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Anthony Bunevitch and brother-in-law Jerry Shipman.
Family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Heller Funeral Home LLC, 633 East Third Street, Nescopeck, immediately followed by a memorial service. Burial is private.
