Vance C. Laubach, age 65, of Berwick passed away on Friday, August 14, 2026, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born in Berwick on November 11, 1960, he was a son of the late David M. Sr and Donna (Longenberger) Laubach. He was a graduate of Berwick High School, class of 1978. For over 50 years Vance worked at the family business, C.M Laubach & Son’s, in Berwick where he was the gas station manager.
In 1980, he met the love of his life, Tammy S. (Hacker) Laubach, with whom he has spent the past 46 years . Together they raised 3 children and built a strong foundation for many generations to come.
Vance was a member of American Motocross Association and greatly enjoyed racing motocross. He was an avid hunter, liked fishing, and loved being outdoors watching wildlife, especially at his house. He enjoyed watching sports and was a NY Mets and San Francisco 49ers fan.
In addition to his wife, Tammy, he will be greatly missed by his children, Ammie Welch and husband Chad, Shickshinny; Vance Laubach II, Berwick; and Nikki Laubach and partner Sage Badolato, Berwick; grandchildren, Aniya, Colton, and Chase. He also leaves behind brothers, Bradley Laubach and wife Heather, Bewick; Dave Laubach Jr, Berwick and nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, Nescopeck. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Berwick. Family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until the time of service.
