Norman A. Andy

Norman A. Andy, age 74, of Denver, PA and formerly from Bloomsburg, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at the Gardens at Stevens. He was surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Bloomsburg on October 24, 1951, he was a son of the late John D. Andy Sr. and Shirley (Moyer) Atherton. He attended Bloomsburg High School and soon after entered U.S. Army, where he served from 1969 until 1972, during the Vietnam War. After an honorable discharge, he worked at Grace Mines in Morgantown until they closed in 1978. After, he found employment with Reading Railroad, and later, worked at the courthouse in Reading. Most recently, he worked in construction through the Laborers Union #1174.

In 1976, he started dating the love of his life, Audrey L. (Blue) Andy.  After sharing many years together, they married in 2003. Together, they raised their children and built a strong foundation for future generations.

In addition to his wife, Audrey, he will be greatly missed by his daughter, Beth A. Blue and companion Donnie Densberger, Sweet Valley; son, Adam P. Blue, Denver; grandchildren, Christian D Masevicius and wife Kayla, Cheyenne T. Masevicius, Rayne O. Blue; and great grandchildren, Amelia and Brooklynn. He also leaves behind brothers, John D. Andy Jr; George Andy; and sister, Betsy Santiago and husband Raphael, all from Hamburg, PA; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Jane Miller.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 24, 2026, at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 E Third St, Nescopeck. Interment will follow in Ikeler Cemetery, Millville. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
