Robert “Bob” Vosburg, Sr., of Wapwallopen passed away on Thursday August 27, 2026, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born in Kingston on September 25, 1945, he was a son of the late Theodore Allen and Mildred Janet (Vann) Vosburg. He was raised in Hobbie and graduated from Nescopeck High School, class of 1963. After graduating, he attended Wilkes University.
Bob enjoyed working in his yard and planting his flowers. His begonias are exceptionally beautiful this year.
In 1982, he married his beloved wife, Mary Lucy (Slesinski) Vosburg. On September 11, they would have been married 44 years.
In addition to his wife, he will be greatly missed by grandchildren, Max and Poviel Vosburg; brother, Brian Vosburg, Freeland; sisters, Karen Barber, New Mexico; Sharon Pfeiffer and husband Bill, North Carolina; Mary Vosburg-Grega, Hobbie; Kathy Moyer, Nanticoke; sister-in-law, Dana Vosburg, Mifflinville; and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his uncle, David Vann and wife Angela; and numerous cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Theodore A. Vosburg II, and his sister Kathy’s companion, Larry Bunevitch.
At Robert’s request there will be no public services.
