Gary A. Sink, age 78, of Berwick passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born in Beach Haven on May 1, 1948, he was a son of the late Stanley M. and Grace E. (Appleby) Sink. He was educated at Ferris Heights School in Berwick and worked in the housekeeping department at Berwick Hospital for 23 years.
Gary loved crocheting and made numerous afghans over the years. He liked planting and taking care of flowers. He enjoyed eating meals with his family, especially when followed by chocolate cake with peanut butter icing.
He will be greatly missed by his sister, Carol Taranto, Berwick; nieces, Sherry Ann Tumole, Brenda Saba, Wendy DeFranco, Gloria Bobersky, and Crystal Temple; nephews, Stephen Hutchings, Kenneth Sink Jr, and Michael Sink; and several great nieces and great nephews including Brittany Klesh, Samantha Sparks and Joshua Sink.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Randall and Kenneth Sink; a niece, Sharon Taranto; and nephew, Robert Sink.
A private graveside service will be held in Pine Grove Cemetery, Berwick at the convenience of his family.
