Matthew W. Laubach, age 26, of Berwick passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 9, 2026.
Born in Berwick on January 16, 2000, he was the son of Bradley W. and Heather M. (Matthews) Laubach. He attended Berwick High School and worked at the family business, Laubach & Sons Inc, Berwick. He also helped his brother with his business, Upper Echelon, Wilkes-Barre.
Matt was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Berwick. He loved riding mountain bikes and fishing. He enjoyed the time he spent working on cars with his dad. He liked listening to rap music and watching the Green Bay Packers.
In addition to his parents, he will be greatly missed by his brothers, Bradley W. Laubach and wife Rose, Wyoming, PA; Cody R. Stere and wife Makenzie, Dallas, PA; sisters, Cassondra J. Laubach and companion Eric Davis, Berwick; Vestina M. Stere and fiancé Ryan Williams, Berwick; nieces and nephews, Lily, Isabelle, Bryce, Liam, Sammy, Carson, Carter and Kayce. He also leaves behind his maternal grandparents, Valerie M. Baslick; and William F. and Katherine Matthews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jesse Laubach; paternal grandparents, David M. and Donna L. Laubach; and maternal grandfather, Roger Baslick.
