Steven M. McAfee, age 51, of Berwick passed away unexpectedly on Monday October 12, 2026.
Born in Berwick on April 30, 1975, he was a son of Janice (Dietterick) Lechleitner and husband Ed, Berwick and the late Jay McAfee. In his younger years he worked for Kawneer for many years before moving to Virginia. After moving back to Pennsylvania, he was currently employed at Henkel, Hazleton.
Steven liked to tinker in his garage, he was always working on something. He enjoyed making stain glass, welding and wood working. He loved riding his motorcycle with his wife. His beloved dogs, Mo and Moon were always by his side.
Steven was the best husband, son, son-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle and friend anyone could have. He gave the BEST hugs.
In addition to his mother, he will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 11 years, Sally J. McAfee; sister, Nicole Wolverton and husband Craig, Aldan, PA; stepsisters, Lisa Eisenhauer, Bloomsburg; and Crystal McArthur and husband Randy, Pottstown; nieces and nephews, Karen Sanders, Jake Sanders and wife Carolyn, Emma Bucko, Brayden McArthur, and Madison McArthur. He also leaves behind mother and father-in-law, Terry and Donna Sanders, Berwick; brother-in-law, A.J. Sanders, Norfolk, VA; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

At the family’s request there will be no services.
