Lori R. (Thomas) Arlotto, 61, of Wapwallopen, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at her home.
Born in Berwick on February 14, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Ray “Skip” C. and Eleanor J. (Lowery) Thomas. She graduated from John S. Fine High School, Nanticoke, and went on to become a certified manicurist. She later worked at Toy Works and then at Graziano’s Restaurant.
Lori was married to Anthony “Tony” M. Arlotto on October 28, 1978; they were married for 42 years before his passing on June 23, 2021.
Lori was a devoted member of St. John’s Faith UCC Church, Wapwallopen. Lori enjoyed crocheting, knitting, painting, reading, and fishing. She was an animal lover, who devoted much of her time to all her fur babies that she raised throughout the years.
Lori will be greatly missed by her son, Shawn Simon; brother, Jan “Tuffy” Thomas and wife Lisa, Nescopeck; sister-in-law, Michele M. (Arlotto) Hutton; brother-in-law, Michael C. Arlotto, nieces; Trysha Thomas and Julia L. Hutton; nephews, Shane Thomas, Raymond M. Hutton, Blaise Arlotto, Adam Arlotto, & Danton Arlotto. Additionally, she is survived by her loyal and faithful canine and feline companions.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 East Third Street, Nescopeck, with Pastor Jim Stanley officiating. Interment will follow Elan Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until the time of service.
