Marlene S. (Hickman) Kishbaugh, 80, of Shickshinny passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at her daughter’s home in Benton, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Nanticoke on March 15, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Albert L. and Mary (Featherman) Hickman. Marlene attended Shickshinny High School, and worked at Luzerne Outerwear until the company closed.
Marlene liked to crochet, having made many afghans over the years. She also embroidered, and made many items including tablecloths, blankets, pillow cases, the she gave as keepsakes for her family. She enjoyed baking and taking care of others.
She will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 63 years, Kenneth B. Kishbaugh; children: son, Kenneth L. Kishbaugh and wife Veldra, Shickshinny; daughters, Sherry Killian, Benton; Trudy Bonham and husband Duane, Benton; 6 grandchildren: Jeremy, Jason, Mendy, Bobbie, James, and Alyssa; 10 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a brother, Kent Hickman and wife Maryann, Benton; sister, Bettina Michael and husband Larry, Berwick; several nieces and nephews; numerous in-laws and many friends.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Richard Killian and a sister, Barbara Moss.
At Marlene’s request there will be no public services.
