Randall C. Hart, 60, of Berwick passed away suddenly on Friday, September 15, 2017 at Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital, after a battle with cancer.
Randall was known by several nicknames, if you had to leave him a voicemail, you probably heard his “Randy, Sonny, Ziggy – whoever you want me to be” message.
He was born in Berwick on June 10, 1957, a son of Randall A. and Patricia (Ashton) Hart of Berwick. He was a 1975 graduate of Berwick High School, and was employed as a pipefitter for 35 years, retiring this past June from the Pipefitters Local 524. After retirement, he worked for Air Balancing Engineers.
He loved hunting, especially with his loyal sidekick, “Zoey”. He enjoyed fishing in his younger years. He was an avid football fan, who rooted for the Berwick Bulldogs, Penn State Nittany Lions, and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
In addition to his parents, he will be greatly missed by his companion of nearly 11 years, Bonnie Wesstrom; her children: Owen Wesstrom and companion Ronnie Croom, Bloomsburg; Shelly Colna and husband Charles, Catawissa; and grandchildren, Brianna, Tyler, Maddie and Logan. He also leaves behind a brother, Timothy S. Hart and close family friend, Donna Harrel; numerous, aunts, uncles and cousins; and many friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, September 22, 2017 at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 East Third Street, Nescopeck with Pastor Dawes Dunham officiating. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
