Linda K. Platt, age 74, of Salem Township passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022, at Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital, surrounded by her family.
Born in Bloomsburg on August 5, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Max E. and Geneva I. (Karchner) O’Blosser. She was raised and educated in the Pottstown area, and later she attended Danville School of Nursing where she earned her certificate as a Licensed Practical Nurse. For over 20 years, Linda worked as a private duty LPN.
In her quiet time, Linda loved to write poetry. She also liked taking rides in the country and spending time at Worlds End. She enjoyed working on crosswords and crypto quips.
In 1964 she married the love of her life, Ronald L Platt, Sr. This August they would have celebrated 58 years of marriage. In addition to her husband, she will be greatly missed by her daughter, Luann K. Koller and husband Jeff, Berwick; son, Ronald L. Platt, Jr and wife Rosemary, Berwick; grandchildren, Bryce Platt and Mia Koller. She also leaves behind sisters, Vicki Cozad, Bloomsburg; Deidre Aiken and husband Richard, Pottstown; brothers, Max O’Blosser, Pottstown; Bryan O’Blosser and fiancée Lydia Weitzel, Exeter; Charles O’Blosser and wife Karen, Pottstown; many nieces; nephews; cousins; extended family and friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded by sisters, Sandra Tincher and husband Sam; Shirley O’Blosser; brother, Larry O’Blosser; and in-laws.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Heller Funeral Home, LLC, Nescopeck is assisting her family.
