Debra L. Wojciechowicz, age 68, of Berwick passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at home.
Born in Bloomsburg on June 8, 1954, she was a daughter of the late Gordon L. and Dorothy L. (Gardener) Fink. She graduated from Benton Area High School and worked on the security team for gas rigs at Penn Ohio, traveling throughout PA, OH, VA, WV, and other states in the northeast.
Debra was a life member of Berwick VFW Aux Post 821 and a longtime member of Benton VFW Aux 8317, where she was district president. She was also a member of the Slavonic American Club. Debra enjoyed making wreaths, cross stitching, and knitting afghans.
She will be greatly missed by her husband of 15 years, Joseph N. Wojciechowicz; daughters, Dawn Sturgis, FL; Kimberly Grose, Benton; Brianna Wojciechowicz, Wilkes-Barre; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind sister, Sherry Fink Cole, Benton; nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and mother-in-law, Bernice Hargett.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Michelle “Mickey” Faux.
A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
