Joan Lamon, age 90, of Mifflin Twp passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Sunset Ridge Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Bloomsburg.
Born in Hazle Twp on October 19, 1933, she was the last living and youngest of three daughters of the late Cornelius and Jeanette Bonner. She was a graduate of Mifflinville High School, class of 1951. Joan retired from Wise Potato Chip Factory where she worked for many years.
She enjoyed gardening and loved taking care of her dogs and cats.
She will be greatly missed by her son, Donald S. Lamon Jr and companion Bobbi Erdman, Mifflin Twp; daughter, Valerie Muehlhoff, Benton; grandchildren, Christy Lamon, Heather Nevel, Michele Laubach and Michael Lamon.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Donald S. Lamon Sr in 2011; son, Brad Lamon; grandson, Donald S. Lamon III; and 2 sisters.
A private graveside service in Mifflinville Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family. Heller Funeral Home LLC, Nescopeck is assisting her family.
