Virginia M. Hartranft, age 67, of Mifflinville passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born in Bloomsburg on November 28, 1956, she was a daughter of the late Clyde W and Betty J (Drumheller) Andreas. She was a graduate of Central Columbia High School, class of 1974. For several years, Virginia worked at Acme Markets. She retired from Giant Foods, Berwick where she worked at the check out and later attended the gas pumps.
Virginia’s favorite hobby was visiting yard sales. She also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
She will be greatly missed by her son, Edward Hartranft, Watsontown; fiancé of 39 years, John Levan, Nescopeck; brother, Terry Andreas, Miffflinville; sister, Trudy Gearhart, Berwick; nephew, Kevin Gearhart and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 East Third St, Nescopeck. Interment will follow in Freewill Cemetery, Catawissa. Family will receive friends at 12:00 PM until the time of service.
