It is with great sadness that the family of Vicky A. (Lowery) Whitmire, age 69, of Nescopeck announce her passing on Friday July 19, 2024, at Allied Hospice, Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Berwick on August 1, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Fayetta L. (Fedder) Lowery. She graduated from Berwick High School, class of 1972. Over the years she worked with various local businesses. Most recently she worked as a reflexologist helping others feel their best until retiring 7 years ago.
Vicky will be remembered for the fun-loving person she was, with a heart of gold. She enjoyed singing, dancing and spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed reading the bible and helping with church functions.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of nearly 29 years, Carl E. Whitmire Jr; daughters, Amy Keenan, Nescopeck; Nicole Spaid, and fiancé Patrick Shannon, Orangeville; grandchildren, Kelsey, Michael, Tyler, Seth and Shyane; 6 great grandchildren; brothers, Brad Lowery, Berwick; Brent Lowery and wife Janet, Hobbie; Brian Lowery and wife Lori, Nescopeck; Britt Lowery and wife Kelli, Chesapeake, VA; and all of her nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she will be joined in heaven by her brother, Robert E. Lowery II, and great grandson, Brantley.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday July 26, 2024, at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 E Third St, Nescopeck. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
Memorial contributions are suggested to First Baptist Church of Berwick Community Closet, 224 W Front St, Berwick, PA 18603, where she was a member.
