Shirley D. Kishbaugh, age 95, of Nescopeck Township passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, with her family by her side.
Born in Berwick on September 26, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Clarence Johns and Lorena M. (Gerton) Dietterick. She was raised and educated in Briar Creek. Shirley was a devoted wife and mother who dedicated her time to providing a loving environment for her family.
In her younger years, she was a member of Mount Zion United Church of Christ, Nescopeck Township. Shirley was very charismatic, and people were happy to be around her. She loved entertaining and everyone was delighted to attend her events. She enjoyed gardening, going to the fair, and listening to country music. She also liked to travel, especially to the beach.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 54 years, Sterling Kishbaugh; a son, Christopher Kishbaugh; brothers, William Johns, Robert Johns, George Johns, Roland Johns, Barry Dietterick; and sisters, Loretta Dagget and Betty Johns.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Sandra Tripp, Nescopeck; sons, Wayne “Butch” Kishbaugh and wife Lucinda, Berwick; David Kishbaugh, Nescopeck; Michael Kishbaugh and wife Lani, Shamokin; daughter-in-law, Angel Kishbaugh; grandchildren, Jennifer, Jared, Frank, Colin, Sarah, Zachary, Mikey, and Kortnie; great grandchildren including, Jessica, Paige, Paityn, Malachi, Luke and several others. She also leaves behind brothers, Gary Dietterick and wife Debbie, Berwick; Larry Dietterick and wife Rena, Berwick; and many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 East Third St, Nescopeck followed by a funeral service at 7:00 pm. Burial in Mount Zion Cemetery, Briggsville will be at the convenience of the family.
