Mary (Scanlon) Sabo, , 75, of Bloomsburg passed away on Saturday morning, April 9, 2016, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Mary was born on June 19, 1940 in Sunderland, England. She was raised and educated in England and moved to the United States in 1964. She married Edward A. Sabo in 1965, a union that spanned 39 years until his passing on November 16, 2004.
Mary was a home maker, who worked hard to provide a warm and loving environment for her family. She liked spending time in her garden, but her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her granddaughters.
She will be greatly missed by her sons: Edward Sabo Jr; Kevin Sabo; and Mark Sabo, all of Bloomsburg; cherished granddaughters, Emily and Samantha Sabo; brothers-in-law: Tom Sabo; Frank Sabo and wife Kathe; Joseph Sabo and wife Brenda; sisters-in-law: Florence Hendershot, Dawn Roadarmel and husband Thomas; Theresa Sabo; and several nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of her family, at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, Nescopeck.
