Coralee Ann (Spaid) Livziey, 56, of Mifflinville passed away on April 19, 2016 in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Buffalo, NY on Mary 13, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur Eugene Spaid and Mary Florence Wiessgerber. She was a graduate of St. Cyril Academy, Danville and earned a degree in Business Administration from Bloomsburg University. She was employed at Berwick Offray for 22 years, where she worked her way up from floater to custom coordinator.
Corey was a member of Mifflinville United Methodist Church. She enjoyed cooking and baking. She will be fondly remembered by many for her Christmas Cookies and Easter Eggs.
She will be greatly missed by her husband of nearly 14 years, Thomas P. Livziey, Sr; loving son, Stephen Shoemaker and his companion Taira Hartzel; stepdaughter, Katie Lyons and husband Thomas, Rock Glen; stepson, Thomas P. Livziey, Jr, Rock Glen; adored grandchildren, Jasmine and Cassie. She also leaves behind several siblings including brothers, Robert Spaid and wife Shannon, Mifflinville; David Spaid and wife Mary, VA; E.W. Kemper, Harding; “truck loads” of nieces and nephew; as well as an aunt, cousins and many friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Frank P. Spaid II; aunts and uncles.
A funeral will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 East Third Street, Nescopeck with Chaplain Clint Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Mifflinville Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until Noon.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Heller Funeral Home, LLC, to help with Corey’s final expenses.
