Dale A. Wynings, 74, of Berwick passed away on Monday morning, December 28, 2015 at Berwick Retirement Village II, following a brief illness.
Born in Bloomsburg on August 3, 1941, he was the son of the late Theodore Wynings and Miriam (Wolfert) Wynings Pealer. He was raised and educated in Bloomsburg, worked at Deluxe Homes for 27 years prior to retirement.
Dale enjoyed gardening, as well as tinkering on cars. He liked hunting and working on guns.
He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 16 years, Janet L. (Rooker) Wynings; sons: Dean Wynings, Nescopeck; Dwayne Wynings, Jerseytown; Darrin Wynings, Catawissa; Wade Wynings and wife Susan, Mainville; step children: Scott Sheets, Berwick; Daniel Sheets and wife Kim, Berwick; Tony Sheets and fiancé Trish, Berwick; and 20 grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers: Gary Wynings, and Rick Wynings, both of Berwick; sisters: Theresa Culver, Nanticoke; Kay Patterson, Berwick; Sheila Meade, Nanticoke; Cheryl Wynings, AZ; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Derl Wynings; and brothers, Ted and Ronnie Wynings.
Funerals services will be private at the convenience of the family.
