M. Maynard Miller, 90, of Nescopeck, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at Orangeville Health and Rehab Center
Born on December 23, 1925, he was the son of the late Myron Henry and Getha (Whitenight) Miller. He graduated from Nescopeck High School, then attended Benjamin Franklin College. Maynard worked as the Director of Federal Emergency Management Agency at the Pentagon for 33 years.
Maynard was a life member of the VFW in Sunsites, AZ; where he had resided for 14 years. He enjoyed golfing, motorcycling, and playing games on the computer, especially solitare.
He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 60 years, Mayette C. (Haas) Miller; sons, Mark Miller of N.M. and Michael Miller and wife Karen, A.Z.; grandson, Jeremy; sisters, Lehila Dawson, Wapwallopen, Lurlene DeMarco, Baltimore; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Sellers in November of 2015; sisters, Sarah Elstin, Mary Dockey, Ida Masker, Beatrice Clark, and Gertrude Rolland; and brothers Lee and Voris Miller.
