Louis M. Bafile, Jr., 65, of Nescopeck Twp passed away, Thursday evening, January 7, 2016 at home, surrounded by his family.
Born in Berwick on April 15, 1950, he was a son of late Virginia D. (Stout) and Louis M. Bafile, Sr. He attended Berwick High School, and served in the US Army during the Vietnam war, where he earned several medals including the Vietnam service medal with 3 bronze stars. After being honorably discharged, he was employed at several local businesses including the Berwick Forge where he was a welder, fabricator, machinist and inventer. Most recently, he worked Rado Enterprises in Bloomsburg.
Butch was a life member of the VFW Post 8488 in Lennox. He was also a member of the Sons of Nam M.C. in the Lennox area. He spent hours in his garage working on anything he could. He also enjoyed cutting grass, collecting and riding motorcycles, and hunting.
He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 45 years, Deborah L. (Andrezze) Bafile; son, Michael L. Bafile, Berwick; grandchildren, Ashley Bafile, and Erin Egan; sister, Peggy Coggins, Texas; brother, James Bafile, Texas; many nieces, and nephews; cousins; and his dog, April.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Bafile in 2005; brother, Joseph Bafile in 1978; nieces, Tina Fenicchia, Jocelyn Romano; mother-in law, Geneva Andrezze; brother-in-law, Gary Andrezze; and dog, Angel.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 East Third St, Nescopeck. Interment will follow in Elan Memorial Park, Bloomsburg. Family will receive friends on Tuesday from6:00-8:00 PM and Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
