Deborah J. Baker, 60, of Berwick, passed away on Monday evening, January 18, 2016 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born on April 20, 1955, she was the daughter of Patricia M. (Zelesnikar) Brophy and husband Kenny of Elysburg, and the late Robert Moore. She was educated in the Lehighton area. She worked at Berwick Retirement Village, Liquitain, Berwick; Rotech Inc., Berwick, and most recently, was a private duty caregiver.
Deb was an avid crafter who created many items that she would give to others as gifts. She enjoyed tending to her plants she had around the house. She was known to many for her peanut butter fudge.
She will be greatly missed by her loving husband of nearly 23 years, Larry; step-daughters, Angelica Eckrote and husband Lyle, Danielle Carro and husband Bryan, Marcella Newman and husband Marc, all of Berwick; six grandchildren; brother, Robert Moore and wife Debbie, Berwick; and several nieces and nephews, including Jennifer Orner, her husband Robert and son Jacob; Jodi Boston and her husband Bo, and Bella Moore, with whom she had a special relationship.
She was preceded in death by her infant daughter Angelina in 1991; and brother, Larry Moore.
A graveside service will be held in the spring. Interment will be next to her daughter in Pine Grove Cemetery, Berwick.
