Richard Eugene Stigerwalt, 63, of Bloomsburg passed away Thursday, January 28, 2016 at his home.
Born in Bloomsburg on August 20, 1952, he was the son of the late Chester and Lucille (Mausteller) Stigerwalt . He was a graduate of Central Columbia High School and worked with Bloomsburg Carpet for 30 years.
Richard attended Ebenezer Faith Bible Church, Orangeville. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He also enjoyed frequenting the local coffee houses.
Surviving are former wife, Sharon Lee Davis; son, Jason Stigerwalt and wife Julie of Aurora, IL; grandsons, Jadon and Nathon; sisters, Esther Baumer of Danville and Millie Gowdy of Danville; brothers, Chester Stigerwalt of Orangeville and Jimmy Stigerwalt of Bloomsburg; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 East Third Street, Nescopeck, with Linda Eroh officiating. Friends may come the Funeral Home from 4:00 PM until time of service
In lieu of flowers donations in Richard’s name may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
