Marian R. (Lehman) Gangaware, 90, formerly of Hobbie, passed away on February 8, 2016 in Sharon Hospital, Colebrook, CT.
Born in Pine Grove on August 6, 1925, she was the daughter of the late William and Annie (Yoder) Lehman.
Marian was a member of the former Albright United Methodist Church, Nescopeck, and more recently a dedicated member of Firwood United Methodist Church, Wilkes-Barre.
In addition to her parents, Marian was preceded in death by her husband, Selden A. Gangaware on May 3, 2000; and brothers, Leroy, Paul and Arthur Lehman.
She is survived by her daughter, Marjorie Fose and husband Larry, FL; stepdaughter, Barbara Kaminski and husband James, Wilkes-Barre; stepsons, Rev. Lee Gangaware and wife, Pauline, CT; and Craig R. Gangaware, Jonestown; grandchildren: Erica and husband Chris Walker, Andrea and husband Tim Viti, Adam Gangaware, Hannah Gangaware, Elizabeth and husband Chuck Frye, and Kimberly Fose; great-grandchildren, Julianna Lawrence, Catherine Janson, Jacob and Jaron Frye and Bryce Viti; and sister, Leah Kramer.
Family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 PM on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 East Third Street, Nescopeck. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM with Reverend Lee Gangaware officiating.
Interment will be next to her husband in Indiantown Gap Cemetery, Annville at 9:00 AM on Friday, February 12, 2016.
