David W. Lutz, of Berwick passed away Friday, April 8, 2016, in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born in Berwick on June 25, 1968, he was the son of Lester Lutz of Berwick, and the late Beverley (Deitrich) Hontz. David had worked as a carpenter for many years with Boss Contracting, performing a variety of duties.
He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed playing online video games, and had a great love of cars. His favorite past time however, was spending time with his grandchildren.
He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Brenda (Hess) Lutz, with whom he spent the past 10 years; daughters, Alene Weaver and Kirsten Miller; son, Dylan Miller; grandchildren, Conner O’Brien and Blake O’Brien; twin brother, Daniel Lutz and companion Autumn Whitten; brothers, William Lutz, Howard Lutz and companion Edna, Michael Lutz and wife Annie; sisters, Shirley Rubenstein, Linda Brown and husband Butch, and Toni Hutton and husband Jeff; 3 sisters-in-law, 1 brother in law; several nieces and nephews; and good friend, Joe Larson.
David was preceded in death by his stepfather, Ken Hontz.
At David’s wish there will be no viewing or funeral service. A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
