Dorothy Fink

Dorothy Fink, 86, of Slocum Township passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at her home.

Born in Nanticoke on September 11, 1929 she was the daughter of the late Edward and Helen (Raszka) Sobolewski. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. “Nana” as she was known to many, will be remembered for her wit, laughter, pep talks and kindness, and will be greatly missed by many.

She was preceded in death by her husband Curtis in 2006; son, Leslie Fink; sister, Elaine Sobolewski Yacano, and step-brother, Edward Sobolewski Jr.

She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Joyce Fink, Wapwallopen; Carol Burd, Wapwallopen; grandchildren, Ronald Burd Jr, Wapwallopen; Samantha Burd, Wapwallopen; Evon Rotski Kunkle, State College; Cindi Rotski, Wapwallopen; and great granddaughter, Nicole Shultz, Wapwallopen. She is also survived by her step-brother, Charles Sobolewski and wife Maryann, Mountaintop; and step-sister, Cecelia Sobolewski Littleton, San Angelo, TX.

At Dorothy’s request, there will be no public services. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
