Linda L. Remphrey, 68, of Berwick passed away on Tuesday morning, July 5, 2016 at Berwick Retirement Village II, where she had been residing since the beginning of the year.
Born in Berwick on July 11, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Joseph James and Laura (Brader) Church. She was a graduated of Berwick High School. She worked hard to provide a loving home for her husband and children.
Linda liked passing the time watching television, but her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed by her husband Larry E. Remphrey, Sr. with whom she celebrated a 48th anniversary on June 1st; sons, Larry Remphrey, Jr. and wife Jinanne, Benton; Randy Remphrey, Sr. and wife Susan, Berwick; Chris Remphrey and wife Sandy, Berwick; 13 grandchildren; and 3 great granddaughters. She is also survived by brothers, Carl Church and wife Rose, Berwick; Joseph Church, Scranton; sister, Eva Smith and husband Theodore, Berwick; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Bonnie Heiser, and Betty Remphrey; and brother, Richard Brader.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 8, 2016 at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, Nescopeck. Interment will follow in Elan Memorial Park, Bloomsburg. Family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
