Foster D. Weaver, 82, of Orangeville passed away on Friday, August 26, 2016 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born in Berwick on March 27, 1934, he was the son of the late Edward and Emma M. (Hartman) Weaver. He attended Mifflinville High School and served in the US Navy Reserves for 8 years. He was employed as a truck driver for Ferguson Trucking and Wise Potato Chips. He was also the owner and operator of Weaver’s Auto Sales, with several locations, including Mifflinville. Most recently he was employed at Independence Ford, Bloomsburg.
“Weav” as he was known to many, was a member of the Harris Lodge #216 F&AM, Orangeville and later the Caldwell Consistory, Bloomsburg. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and going to yard sales.
He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of nearly 63 years, Jane B. (Messersmith) Weaver; daughter, Michele Drumheller, Lime Ridge; son, Dean Weaver and wife Darlene, Wyoming, PA; grandchildren, Christopher Weaver, Justin Weaver, Amber Drumheller, Tia Miller and Jared Weaver; 10 great grandchildren; and a brother, Wayne Weaver and wife Tillie, Berwick.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Hazel Magee and Edna Shultz; and brothers, Derl Weaver and Morris Weaver.
