Doyle E. Hudelson, 84, of Mifflinville, passed away Friday morning, October 7, 2016, at his home.
Born in Nescopeck on February 7, 1932, he was son of the late Foster E. and “Arlene” (Miller) Hudelson. He attended Mifflinville Schools, and served in the US Army, where he was stationed in Germany during the Korean War. He was employed at Wise Potato Chips, Berwick, as well as Doyle Hudelson plumbing and heating. He also did auto body work.
Doyle enjoyed collecting and restoring John Deere tractors, working on hit and miss engines, and equipment. He would often go to antique machinery shows, especially in Bangor. In his younger years, he liked hunting and fishing.
He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of nearly 61 years, Nancy V. (Davis) Hudelson; son, Darryl Hudelson and wife Brenda, Berwick; grandchildren, Heather Botto and husband Keith, Justin Hudelson; great granddaughter, Emma Botto; and nephews, Walter Hudelson and Elwood Hudelson Jr.
He was preceded in death by his son, Douglas Hudelson in 2003; and brother, Elwood Hudelson.
At Doyle’s request all services will be private. Interment will take place in Mifflinville Cemetery.
