Bruce M. Serafin, 67, of Huntington Mills passed away on December 31, 2016 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born in Berwick on October 19, 1949, he was a son of the late William and Alverta (McGarvey) Serafin. He graduated from Central Columbia High School in 1967. He was a truck driver for over 40 years, and currently owned and operated his own rig.
Bruce enjoyed hunting. His greatest love was spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter, Aleeyah, who was his pride and joy.
He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 29 years, Brenda K. (Whitmire) Serafin; sons, Brandon Serafin, at home; Michael Serafin and wife Regina, Orange Lake, FL; William Serafin and wife Marnie, Howard Beach, NY; beloved granddaughter, Aleeyah; sisters, Barbara Long, Linda Miller, Nancy Serafin, all of Bloomsburg; Janet Stackhouse and husband Paul, Camp Hill; brother, Robert Serafin and wife Paula, Berwick; many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 8:00 PM on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 East Third Street, Nescopeck. Family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until the time of service.
