Benny B. Kramer

Benny B. Kramer,
72, of Berwick went to be with the Lord on January 1, 2017 from the Gardens at Orangeville.

Born in Berwick on February 12, 1944, he was a son of the late Jenny (Berger) and William Kramer, Sr. He attended school in Beach Haven, and served honorably in the US Army in the early 60’s. He was the owner of Kramer’s Tree Service, retiring at the age of 62.

Benny was a “born again Christian” who belonged to New Life Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church, Bloomsburg. Many knew him through his involvement with the prison ministry where “the Lord used him to help prisoners find God”. He had a strong faith in the Lord that he was always willing to share with others.

He enjoyed hunting and spotting deer. He liked trout fishing in native streams, especially when they got muddy. He was an avid Berwick Football fan, and enjoyed NASCAR racing, always rooting for his favorite local, Jimmy Spencer. He loved his family and spending any time he could with them.

He will be greatly missed by his loving children: daughters, Lyndsey Kramer, Bloomsburg; Marlene Schaffer and husband Ken, Millville; Carissa Beck, Albrightsville; Joann Sando and husband Brad, Lebanon; Michele Kramer, Lebanon; sons, Mike Domanski and wife Deanna, Berwick; Chris Domanski and wife Alicia, Berwick; 13 cherished grandchildren; 9 adored great grandchildren; sisters, Bonnie Samsel, Berwick; Nancy Kramer, NJ; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother William Kramer, Jr and nieces, Donna and Jodi.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 7, 2016 at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, Nescopeck, with Pastor Larry Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Summer Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
