Pamela A. Francioni, 60, of Hobbie passed away on Friday, January 13, 2017 at her home, surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Nanticoke on June 6, 1956, she was a daughter of the late Margaret (Sassman) Madaj and James Mace. She was raised and educated in Nanticoke, and was employed at American Tobacco for 15 years. Pam stopped working to become a full-time homemaker, providing a warm and loving environment for her husband and children, who she cherished and adored. She greatly enjoyed completing the tasks that came with the job, especially cooking and baking. Pam was very proud of her children and was looking forward to the birth of her first grandchild this summer.
She loved to play with and care for her cats. She also liked visiting yard sales where she looked for treasures.
She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Tracy Francioni, Hobbie; Tanya Francioni, Hobbie; son, Tim Francioni, Jr. and wife Heidi, Hobbie; sisters, Andrea Sadowski, Nuangola; Judith Vida, Edwardsville; Dawn Marie Mieczkowski, Nanticoke; Lori Lee Mace, Nanticoke; Dorothy Geasey, Plains; Denise Madaj, Nanticoke; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Francioni, Sr. in 2009.
Family will receive friends on Friday, January 20, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 East Third Street, Nescopeck. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 11:00 AM in Stairville Cemetery, Stairville Road, Dorrance Twp.
