Duane A. Schechterly, 45, of Williamsport passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at home.
Born in Berwick on September 30, 1971, he was a son of the late Albert L. “Pete” Schechterly, and Judith A. (Nagle) Schechterly. He was a graduate of Berwick High School and served honorably in the US Navy from 1992 to 1994. He worked at Shop Vac, Williamsport for over 10 years and was currently employed at First Quality Paper, Lock Haven.
Duane was a computer enthusiast and an avid gamer. He also enjoyed working on cars.
He will be missed by his brothers, David Schechterly and companion Mary Glidewell, Berwick; Edward Schechterly and husband Robert Ferguson, Williamsport; and loyal canine companion, Noel. He is also survived by his step-mother, Pat (Andrews) Schechterly, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
In keeping with Duane’s way of life all services will be private at the convenience of the family.
