Crystal N. Miller, 27, of Hobbie passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at her home.
Born in Kingston on January 4, 1990, she was the daughter of Judy (Whitebread) Miller of Hobbie, and Donald R. Miller of Berwick. She was a graduate of Columbia Montour Vo-Tech and attended Luzerne County Community College. She was employed as a manager at the Pilot Travel Center, Drums, PA.
Crystal was a member of St. James Lutheran Evangelical Church, Hobbie. She was very artistic, and loved painting and sketching. She also liked singing and listening to music. She collected coins and dolphins. She enjoyed hiking, nature walks and going to the beach.
In addition to her parents, she will be greatly missed by sisters, Julie Bittner and husband Joshua, Nescopeck Township; Lauren Miller, Bethlehem; Kaela Miller and fiancé Joshua Andress, Mountaintop; nieces, Madison, Natalee, Mackenzie, and Ariana; aunts, uncles, and cousins. She also leaves behind her furry, loyal friend, “Bella”.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Claude and Getha Whitebread; and aunt, Lois Soberick.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 24, 2017 at St. James Lutheran Church, Hobbie. Interment will follow in St James Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 East Third Street, Nescopeck, and Friday morning at the church from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
