Robert D. Pollick Co-Owner of Angie’s Lounge

Bob Pollick ,75, of Berwick passed away peacefully on Monday, July 31,2017, at home surrounded by his large loving family.

He was born on August 29,1941 to the late Joseph F. and Dorothy (Burke) Pollick and lived a majority of his life in Berwick. Bob owned two businesses throughout his long work history and worked in several local factories. He was also a well-known bartender. His first job was at age 12 at The Berwick Chocolate and Novelty Co. and he never stopped working until a cancer diagnosis forced him to completely stop six years ago. Bob was an old school guy who lived by his motto: Be an honest hard-working man.

Bob loved to sing and had a beautiful voice. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed fishing, darts and pool. Our patriarch was known for his strength and determination to take care of his family no matter what life tragedy came his way. His door was always open if you needed a meal or a place to sleep. His kindness and generosity was limitless.

On July 25, Bob and his wife Wendy (Hellenthal) Pollick celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary. Bob mustered up enough strength to sign an anniversary card to his wife and share a slice of cake, which Wendy fed to the love of her life.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Dezarae Pollick and a great granddaughter Celia Rose.

In addition to his wife, Bob will be greatly missed by nine children: sons, Robert and fiancé Amanda; Brian; Brad and wife Nancy; Douglas; Todd and fiancé Kelly; Jeremy and wife Kim Naus; Jason; and Jonathan; and daughter Laurie and husband William “Buck” Titus. Also surviving are twenty-three grandchildren and twenty-six great grandchildren. He also leaves behind one brother and two sisters: Joseph; Mrs. Paul (Terry) Troiani; and youngest sister Rebecca, as well as a very large circle of cousins.

In keeping with Bob’s wishes, services will be at the convenience of the family.
