Lorraine R. Cottman, 62, of Bloomsburg passed away on Monday, August 21, 2017 in Geisinger Bloomsburg Health Care, where she was a resident for the past 11 months.
Born in Abington, PA on October 3, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Harold D. and Joyce M. (Voistgberger) Johnson. Raised and educated in Levittown, Pennsylvania, she was a graduate of Pennsbury High School. In her younger years, Lorraine worked at several bars in New Jersey. After moving to Pennsylvania, she worked at Consolidated Cigar and later at City Hall. Most recently she worked at Giant in Berwick.
Anyone who knew Lorraine, knew she a was a strong-willed woman. She enjoyed reading, sewing, and working on puzzles.
She will be greatly missed by her sisters: Jill Roach and husband Charles, Berwick; Lynne Masker and companion Robert Paisley, Hobbie; brothers: David Johnson and wife Linda, Bloomsburg; Arthur W. Johnson and wife Debbie, Lime Ridge; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is also survived by 2 step-daughters, Tiffany Jackson; Crystal Brewington; a step-son Paul Cottman, Jr, and their children.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephew, Michael.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 9, 2017, in St. James Cemetery, Church Road, Stillwater.
