Rodney E. Reider, 64, of Shickshinny passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 1, 2017 at his home.
Born on July 26, 1953 in Nanticoke he was the son of the late Earl and Ruth (Moyer) Reider. He graduated from Northwest High School and attended Lock Haven University. He worked at Proctor and Gamble for over 20 years.
Rodney spent many hours hunting and fishing. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He will be greatly missed by his son, Stephan R. Reider, Shickshinny; daughter, Melissa S. Reider, Shickshinny; grandchildren, Preston, Alyssa, and Logan Cragle; Starr Reider; and, Damian Masler. He also leaves behind brothers: Gary Reider and wife Barbara, Shickshinny; Dave Reider and wife Carol, Shickshinny; and, Timothy Reider, Huntington Mills; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Susan (Knouse) Reider on September 10, 2016; and a sister, Kay Baskett.
At Rodney’s request there will be no services.
