Norma Vought, 48, of Berwick passed away suddenly on Monday, October 16, 2017 at Berwick Hospital.
Born on December 8, 1968 in Palm Beach County, Florida she was a daughter of Ralph and Rachel Gonzales of Florida. Norma was raised and educated in Florida, where she met her husband, Richard and later moved to Pennsylvania.
In her spare time, she enjoyed doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles. She was a talented artist who enjoyed sketching, and she had a passion for writing poetry. Norma loved spending time with her family, especially her children. She was active with her daughter’s school activities and helped with her girl scout troop.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Anna Gonzales.
She will be greatly missed by her husband of 26 years, Richard Vought; son, Christopher Vought, Indiana; daughter, Trista Vought, Berwick; several siblings; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 East Third Street, Nescopeck with Reverend Carl Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Cemetery, Berwick. Family will receive friends on Friday, October 20, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
