Diane A. Lewis, 50, of Berwick passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the Gardens at Orangeville, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Berwick on June 25, 1967, she was the daughter of Ethel L. (Klinger) Rough of Nescopeck and the late William F. Rough, Sr. She graduated from Berwick High School in 1985. She was employed in Human Resources at Geisinger Medical Center, and worked weekends at the Inn at Turkey Hill.
Diane liked cooking and going shopping. She enjoyed riding her bike and going for walks. She loved going on family vacations, especially at the beach.
In addition to her mother, she will be greatly missed by her husband Gregory A. Lewis with whom she spent the past 20 years; son, Theron W. Rood, Benton; daughter, Alexis R. Fischer and husband Jason, NC; step children, Lauren Lewis; Justin Lewis and wife Tiffany; Lindsey Lewis; Lydia Lewis; 5 grandchildren; brother, Robert Kehl, Berwick; Joanne Smith, Berwick; Tammy Albertson, Nescopeck; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, William Rough, Jr.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 3, 2017 at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 East Third Street, Nescopeck, with Pastor Stephen Potutschnig officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery, Berwick.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
