Richard D. Hock

Richard D. Hock, 69, of Bloomsburg passed away Saturday, November 4, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born on March 22, 1948 he was a son of the late Earl Hock and Irene M. (Harris) Baker. He graduated from Central High School in 1967. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1968 and served until 1973 during the Vietnam War. After an honorable discharge Richard worked at Feissner Ford in Berwick, which later became Zeisloft and is now Ken Pollock, retiring after 45 years.

Rick was a member of the American Legion. He had a passion for the outdoors. He loved to go camping with his family, fishing, and hunting. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.

He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 44 years, Ann L. (Monroe) Hock; daughters, Lorrie Diltz and husband Scott, Bloomsburg; Kimberly Kallen and husband Jonathan, Langhorne; grandchildren, Nissa Buck, Carrie Buck, Haley Diltz, Kyle Diltz, Sydney Kallen, and Samuel Kallen; 2 great grandchildren, Allie and Avery. He is survived by sisters, Kathryn Drumm, Bloomsburg; Cynthia J. Knorr and husband Zane, Bloomsburg; Vicky Brobst and husband Dave, Ohio; brothers: Robert L. Hock and wife Mabel, Danville; George “Edward” Hock and wife Carol, Mifflinville; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Charles Buck.
