Thomas H. Gross, 58, of Berwick, passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born in Berwick on June 27, 1959 he was a son of the late Richard A. Sr and Mary E. (Allen) Gross. He attended Berwick Area Schools. Tom worked at RAD Woodworking, and later, at Wilkes Pools until his health began to fail.
He was a very talented craftsman and was known for building little villages with trains and houses. He also liked to work on cars whether it was engine or body work. He was a loving and patient grandfather, who cherished his grandchildren.
He will be greatly missed by his daughters: Deana Gross, Berwick; Valeen Hykes and husband Jonathon; Blandon, PA; grandchildren: Kiersten Hykes, Alexus Brittain; Tanner Brittain; and several foster grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sister, Debbie Gross, Berwick; brothers, Wayne Gross, Berwick; Robert Gross and wife Deanna, Berwick; Michael Gross and wife Jackie, Berwick; Mark Gross, Sr and wife Brenda, Berwick; Darrin Gross, Bloomsburg; Vernon Gross and wife Dawn, Berwick; and numerous nieces and nephews; cousins; aunts and uncles; as well as a beloved kitty, “Cat”.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Richard Gross, Jr.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 East Third Street, Nescopeck, PA 18635.
