Constance J. Bednarski, 84, of Berwick passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital.
Born on June 21, 1933 in Berwick, she was a daughter of the late Franklin P. and Rosa (Hoagland) Drumheller. She graduated from Berwick High school in 1950. Connie worked at different retail stores throughout her life including Grants, and Woolworths. She retired from K-Mart
Connie enjoyed going out to eat and playing cards with her friends, Maxine and Rick Laubach. In her spare time, she also liked to crotchet.
She will be greatly missed by her step-daughter: Carol Sitler; numerous nieces and nephews, including: Cindy Schaible, Bloomsburg and Kathy Weaver, Parksburg, PA, who also were her care givers.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick H. Bednarski on March 17, 2010; sisters: Virginia O’Laughlin; Thelma Meade; Georgia Gregor; Evelyn Kelly; Grace Savidge; and Fern Shoop; brother: Charles Owen Drumheller.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, January 8, 2018 at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 East Third Street, Nescopeck. Interment will follow at Elan Memorial Park, Bloomsburg. Family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
