Esther A. Heller, 93, of Dorrance Township passed away Friday, January 12, 2018, surrounded by her family.
Born on December 2, 1924, she was the daughter of the late William and Edith Huttenstine. Esther married her husband, Ernest Heller in 1943. As a full-time mother and wife, Esther devoted her life to her family and working alongside her husband on the farm. Always cooking and baking, she cherished sharing time with family and friends and was a warm, welcoming, and loving presence to all who entered her home. As a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ, she enjoyed working with her daughter on the church’s newsletter.
In addition to her parents, and husband, Ernest, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Stanley Cybulski; granddaughter, Susan Filozof; brothers, Clyde and Lester Huttenstine; and sister, Alma Hoch.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Judith Cybulski; son, William Heller and wife Patricia; cherished grandchildren, Edward Heller and wife Kelly; James Cybulski; Jacqueline Podlaski and husband Adam; adored great granddaughters, Savannah Rish and Madeline Heller; sisters, Martha Grosz and Dorothy Heller; and many nieces and nephews.
A viewing will take place from 5pm – 8pm on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Heller Funeral Home LLC, 633 East Third Street, Nescopeck.
The funeral service will be held at 10am on Thursday January 18, 2018 at Emmanuel United Church of Christ, Dorrance. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Those attending are asked to go directly to the church.
